1. General conditions

These general conditions (hereinafter referred to as "General Conditions"), apply to the purchase of products via www.extremefitness.no (hereinafter referred to as the "Website" or "online store"), and indicate the conditions that apply between you as a customer (hereinafter referred to as "Customer" or "The Customer ”) and Extreme Fitness AS.

By placing an order on this Website, the Customer confirms that he or she has read through the terms and conditions and accepted them. The customer must be 18 years of age to shop at www.extremefitness.no. If you are under 18 years of age, you can get an adult, for example a guardian, to carry out the transaction for you.

2. Prices

The prices of the goods include value-added tax (VAT). VAT on sports nutrition and dietary supplements is 15%, while VAT on clothes and equipment is 25%. The currency used is Norwegian kroner (NOK) and the prices are based ont the assumption that the goods will be sent within the Norwegian mainland. The total cost of the purchase, including all expenses associated with the purchase such as shipping and any fees for the selected payment method, will be displayed before the ordre is finalized. 

3. Reservations

We reserve the right to rectify and typographical errors concerning prices and other information regarding the goods in the online store. 
Additionally, we reserve the right to modify the prices. We also reserve the right to rectiyfy errors in stock and to cancel out-of-stock items. In the event of any errors on the page, such as price discrepancies, availability issues, or inaccurate product information, we reserve the right to cancel a purchase or sale. 
Please note that the pictures may be misleading, and we strongy recommend that everyone reads the product information. 

4. Payment terms

4.1 Klarna Checkout, Vipps and Mastercard/Visa

On our website, payments are processed through Klarna Checkout, providing ease, flexibility, and security for your online shopping experience. You can review the terms of use for Klarna's Shopping service here. Klarna Checkout offers three payment methods:

  • Pay within 30 days.
  • Card (Mastercard/Visa).
  • Split payments (Pay in installments little each month).

Additionally, you can pay with Vipps or credit/debit cards (Mastercard/Visa). When paying with Vipps or a credit/debit card (Mastercard/Visa), the order amount is reserved on your card upon ordering. This reservation promts your bank to set aside the amount you've spent. While the money remains in your account, it is reserved by Extreme Fitness AS.

Once your order has been dispatched from our end, we will process your order. This entails withdrawing reserved amounts from your account if you have opted to pay with Vipps or a card (Mastercard/Visa). If you have chosen to pay at a later date or to split your payment, the invoice will be sent by Klarna.

4.2 Removal of reservations or refund (in case of return of goods)

If you have returned parts of or all of your order and have opted to pay by card or Vipps, the withdrawn amount will be available in your account within 1-3 weeks (depending on your bank). Please note that extremefitness.no has no controll over the timing of releasing reservations or processing refunds. If you wish to obtain updated information regarding your released reservations/refunds after they have been processed, specifically upon receiving the credit note from us, you can contact Vipps and provide the Vipps ID. You can locate the Vipps ID on the picture of the refund included in the confirmation email we sent you as documentation confirming the cancellation of the reservation or completion of the refund.

If you made your purchase through Klarna, you can contact Klarna and provide your order number to receive updates on refunds.

5. Delivery

5.1 Delivery

Orders are dispatched via PostNord as individual package to a collection point of your choosing. Multiple orders will not be consolidated into a single package/shipment. We exclusively deliver goods to mainland Norway.
Please be aware that PostNord retains the right to modify the delivery location, overt which Extreme Fitness has no control.

Free shipping is available for purchases exceeding NOK 1199. For purchases totaling less than NOK 1199, a shipping fee of NOK 109 applies.

If you opt to have your parcel delivered to a parcel machine and no suitable boxes ar available, PostNord will redirect the the shipment to the nearest collection point. For additional information on parcel machines / pakkeautomat, click here, and to learn about collecting parcels from parcel machines, click here. If you encounter any difficulties in collecting your package, refer to this link. You are responsible for contacting PostNord directly if you wish to redirect your package to another delivery location or extend the collection deadline.

To facilitate delivery, the following information is necessary:

  • Name
  • Norwegian address
  • Telephone number registered in Norway, Sweden, Denmark or Finland
  • Email address

Ensure that all details are accurate before finalizing your order. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the conditions for delivery are fulfilled.

Your can track your shipment online through the app to monitor its progress. We siggest downloading the PosttNord app for easy tracking of your shipments. Alternatively, you can track your package by logging into your customer account on our portal.

It is imperative to adhere to the carrier's guidelines for collecting consignments. Following dispatch from our end, it becomes your responsibility as the customer to retreive the package from the designated delivery point. Packages must be collected within the specified deadline outlined in the notification indicating the package's arrival at the delivery location. 

Kindy note that undelivered packages will incur a fee of NOK 289. The fee will be deducted accordingly.

The standard processing time is typically 1-3 days, contingent upon the stock availability in our warehouse. For larger promotional events, both processing and delivery times may be slightly extended.

Normal delivery duration via PostNord ranges from  2-5 working days, varying based on your location within the country. Delivery times may be further prolonged during public holidays, weekends or if you reside in regions where postal services require additional time. Delays may also occur due to operational disruptions at PostNord.

During significant promotional periods, uch as Black Week, the transportation company may experience extended delivery times.

5.2 Deviations / Delays in transport

The transport company PostNord is responsible for conveying your order from our warehosue to the designated delivery point. Extreme Fitness does not have control over the transportation of your order. In event of deviation or delays in the transportation of your order/package, we follow specific procedures in collaboration with the transport company (PostNord) that must be adressed before we can take action. This may lead to a slightly prolonged processing time for the affected ordre, as the standard processing time with the carrier is typically 5-8 days. Once clarification is obtained, appropriate measures will be initiated by us, which may include crediting or refunding orders. Should any delivery issues arise with your shippment, please contact Extreme Fitness AS, and we will assist you accordingly. Passive action and consignments that are returned will be treated as unclaimed consignments, as outlined in point 5.1 of our Delivery policy.

5.3 Processing time

The expected processing time is 1-3 working days. If the processing time exceeds this duration, you may contact us via email. Please remember to include your order number so that we can assist you promptly.

6. Cancellation (Cancellation of orders)

We operate automated computerized order processing with data synchronization against 3PL warehouses to expedite order dispatch. Therefore, we do not have the capability to cancel or amend your order once ithas been finalized an received in our systsem. Should you wish to cancel the order or return goods after completing your purchase, the standard ringt of withdrawal applies.

7. Right of withdrawal, Returns, Exchanges, Complaints, Wrong Shipment or Undelivered Shipment

7.1 Right of Withdrawal / Return

The Act solely pertains to customer purchases. Further information is provided below.

Upon processing, we will send an email containing a status update. Within this emal, you will find an attached form for the right of withdrawal. Alternatively, you can download the right of withdrawal form. Should you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, this form must be completed and returned to us along with the goods. NB! If a right of withdrawal form is unavailable, you may also include a waybill or a note containing your name and order number. The crucial aspect is that we receive information regarding the sender of the package.
All returned products will be refunded or credited. For replacement products, a new order must be placed through our onlinge store. Refer to section 7.2 for details on exchanges.

Return costs are the responsibility of the customer (cf. Section 8 of the Right of Cancellation Act, point i). If an item is returned as cash on delivery, the package will not be accepted up by us. Additionally, under-franked returns will incur a charge of NOK 289 for taxes and administration.

The right of withdrawal requires that notice be given to the seller within 14 days after the delivery has been received (cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act § 21.) It is your responsibility as a customer to take action steps to ensure that it is evident you are exercising your right of withdrawal . This means actively retrieving the order and then returning it to us. Failure to pick up the order and remaining completely passive, will result in you not meeting the requirements outlined in Section 20 of the Right of Withdrawal Act, thus forfeiting your right to withdraw from the agreement.

Unclaimed packages will incure a fee of NOK 289 to cover return and administration costs, which will be dducted from the refund.

Under the Right of Withdrawal Act, businesses have the right to charge the customer if the product has been devalued due to usage beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and/or function. To exercise the right of withdrawal, returned products must meet the conditions described in section 7.3

Here are theinstructions for returning or canceling purchases:

  1. Fill out the right of withdrawal form included with the delivery confirmation sent via email.
  2. Enclose the completed cancellation form in the package you are returning to us. If you don't have a right of withdrawal form available, you can include a waybill or a note with your name and order number. The key is to ensure that we receive information about the sender of the package. 
  3. The customer is responsible for returning the goods. We recommend sending the return package with tracking to ensure its security. It is advisable to use Norgespakke (www.posten.no) for return shipments. If you choose to send the packaget via letter post, standard mail or similar methods, yy If the package is sent by letter post, all the way home or other similar shipping methods, you assume responsibility for any loss that ay occur during transpit.

Please be aware that it may take 1-3 weeks from the time we receive your return until the return is processed.

7.2 Exchange 

Here are the instructions for exchanging items:

  1. Purchase new items at extremefitness.no
  2. Fill out the right of withdrawal form included with the delivery confirmation sent via email.
  3. Enclose the right of withdrawal form in the package you are returning to us. If you don't have a right of withdrawal form you can include a waybill or a note with your name and order number. The key is to ensure that we receive information about the sender of the package. 
  4. The customer is responsible for returning the goods. We recommend sending the return package with tracking for added security. It is advisable to use Norgespakke (www.posten.no) for return shipments. If you choose to send the package via postal mail, standard mail, or similar methods, you assume responsibility for any loss that may occur during transit. 

When exchanging products, you must cover the return costs and shipping fees for the new products yourself. Please be aware that it may take 1-3 weeks from the time we receive your return until the return is processed.

7.3 Conditions for Exchange, Return and Right of Withdrawal - Important Reminders for Exchanging and Returning:

To receive a full refund, the item must returned in the same condition as when it was received, including the original packaging, with all tags attached, an free from odors or marks.

  • Returned products must be unused and undamaged. 
  • Products soiled or stained by substances such as makeup, creams, deodorant or other substances will not be accepted as returns. 
  • Products lacking labels or with damaged packaging will not be accepted as returns. Please note that if you tape and damage a shoebox during the return shipment, the item cannot be resold and is classified as second-hand goods.
  • Underwear cannot be returned due to hygienic reasons.
  • Opened dietary supplements will not be accepted as returns.

If you return a used item, we assess the reduction in its value and refund accordingly. An item without original packaging, labels, or odors/marks will be considered used, and the full refund amount will not be applicable. 

If your return is not approved, we will contact you via the email address associated with your user account. We will offer you the option to have the product(S) that were not approved for return resent back to yo, for a shipping fee of NOK 289. If you wish to oriceed with this option, we require feedback within 3 days from the date of our contact. Otherwise, the product(s) will be destroyed after 3 days.

7.4 Complaints / Wrong delivery:

If the package is damaged upon receipt, complaints must be filed at the collection point (post office/post in store) where you received the item. Damage to the consignment must be documented and registered at the delivery location. Undocumented damage does not qualify for compensation.

In case of receiving an incorrect shipment or discovering a defect in your order, please contact us immediately and no later than 3 days after receiving the shipment, at support@extremefitness.no. Describe the specific error  or claim the defect. It is essential to include a picture of the packaging and any damage or defects to the product. Do not attempt to rectify errors or defects in products without clarification from Extreme Fitness. Avoid taking any actions that involve expenditure. Refrain from using or consuming products that are reported as defective. 

Extreme Fitness cannot deduct or refund amounts esceeding the total order amount. 

In the event of an incorrect shipment, the product must be returned unused. Clothing and equipment should remain unused, while sports nutrition/dietary supplements should have intact packaging. We will provide you with a free return label for returning incorrectly sent products. Only returns through the Extreme Fitness transport agreement are to be used for returns of complaints and incorrect shipments.

Upon receipt and processing  your return, we will credit you for the product. If you wish to receive a replacement product, please place an order through our online store. Contact us for free shipping valid for up to 1 year (applies only to faulty shipments).

8. Other Terms

Change to the terms. Extreme Fitness AS reserves the right to modify the existing terms and conditions, including in response to changes in legislation.

9. Warranty

Consumer purchases are gouverned by various laws, including the Purchases Act, the Consumer Purchases Act, the Right of Cancellation Act, the Marketing Act, the Personal Data Act, the E-commerce Act and the Credit Purchase Act. 11. Force majeure

If Extreme Fitness AS is unable to fullfil its delivery obligations or if such obligations become unreasonably burdensome due to circumstances beyond our control, such as labor disputes, fire, war, mobilization, unforeseen military obligations of a similar nature, rewuitition, seizure, currency restrictions, riots, shortages of transportation, general shortages of goods, reductions in powersypply, or delays in deliveries from subcontractors or manufacturers resulting from such circumstancess, Extreme Fitness AS is exempt from all liability exceåt in cases of compliaint and reimbursement corresponding to the purchase price of the defective item.
